Wrapping things up

So I'm helping Olivia practice piano and Alexis and Cassidy are playing around us. I hear some laughing and turn around and there's Cassidy standing on the table. ON THE TABLE!!! I staged this shot but that's what it looked like. She's such a little climber now. She's also climbing up on beds too. All the girls have trundle beds so they aren't low beds either.

This sums up Lexie's preformance at her preschool graduation party. She was making all sorts of funny faces, yawning, or just staring doing nothing. Every once in a while she'd start singing and I'd get all excited but then she'd just stop. I think she was just really tired. She takes so long to fall asleep and then wakes up kinda early.

I can't believe it's only 2 more working days for me. I say good-bye to the kids Wednesday morning. Then it's a Greek lunch and staff good-byes. We have 14 people leaving. We're a big school but that is unusual. I'm still cleaning up my classroom. I've been in denial about it all. I'm realizing that there's so much to do. I'm almost done the packing phase but I still have to clean up my class for the next teacher and then organize some of my stuff in my new class. I really want to be more organized and neat in my new class.

Cassidy has been crying out in her sleep which wakes me up. Fortunately I don't always have to go in to see her but then I have such trouble getting back to sleep. So mama is super tired these days.

Bring on Summer!

So here I am only 3 working days left- tomorrow, Wednesday and Thursday. Wednesday I only have the kids half a day and Thursday is just for wrapping things up. I chose to change classrooms which I know is crazy. I have this cool office right now but very little storage and all carpet, which is super gross. And it's even more gross after today. Poor little guy totally threw up all over our carpet. I was across the room with my back turned while the kids yelled "Mrs. Sardinha, H is throwing up!!!!" The other kids had a hard time watching and you could see them kind of gagging and coughing. Anyways, enough of the vomit. I finished my report cards and now it's just cleaning and organizing stuff. We just finished putting the current kindergarten kids into classes for next year. Let me tell you this was a challenge. There were so many kids who couldn't be together but in the end they had to be b/c there were no other classes to put them in! Each class is getting 3 kids who have behaviour and academic problems. One is violent. VIOLENT at 5 years old.

We'll get more photos but first the mailmen have to go back to work! We'll get a CD and we can print off the photos we like.

Miss Cassidy is saying more words now. Her vocabulary includes: hi, bye, mama, dada, hot, poo, pee. nana (banana), ni-ni (for night night) yup (yuck) and of course no. She's a busy little bee, just like her sisters. I thought maybe I'd get a really calm relaxed child but it's just not in the genes. I had a little calm relaxed baby for about a year.

Miss Olivia only has about 3 days left in kindergarten. Then she's full day! Woo hoo! She really needs to be in full day schooling. She's finished baseball and is still doing piano. Yesterday she came back from piano lessons and her new songs have 2 finger notes.

Miss Alexis is done preschool. 3 year old preschool that is. Next year she's still in preschool but in the 4 year old class. She's been tricky lately. Loves her video games and doesn't want to get off. She's almost 4 and she's quite good at Super Mario. I play with her and I'm dying all over the place and she just breezes through. Mind you, she gets all the powers. Oh lord if you get the little flower that gets you freezing power or fire power and she doesn't she gets ticked off. She has these rules you have to follow like when she's on Yoshi and she'll say "okay, you eat the bad guys and I'll eat the fruit." Sometimes you go by the fruit tree and accidentally without doing anything, you eat the fruit. She gets so mad.
